Spanglish

Not quite an authentic margarita made from Tequila de Jalisco, but a pretty darn good rendition for some gringos in Door County.

Featured Spirit: Dos Hobos & Limoncello

Hatch Limoncello instead of orange liqueur provides a bit of added freshness, and the orange bitters round out the citrusy flavors, complementing the smokiness of the Dos Hobos. Fermented and distilled from 100% blue agave, we’ve taken inspiration from our friends south of the border in creating Dos Hobos. Technically not a tequila due to geographical restrictions, we rest our Dos Hobos in used scotch casks to create a slightly smoky, reposado-style agave spirit.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz Dos Hobos
  • ½ oz Limoncello
  • ¾ oz Lime Juice
  • ½ oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
