Irish Maid

Like Ketchup is to food, elderflower is to cocktails: It might be ubiquitous, bordering on cliche, but a little bit just seems to make everything taste better.

Featured Spirit: 1916 Bourbon

Grassy and vegetal notes from the 1916 Bourbon are complemented by cooling cucumber, vibrant citrus, and a punch of floral flavor from the elderflower.


  • 1 ½  oz Bourbon
  • ½ oz Limoncello
  • ¾ oz Elderflower & mint syrup
  • ¾ oz Cucumber Juice
  • ½ oz Lemon Juice

In a shaker tin, combine all ingredients, then top up with ice. Shake vigorously for 20 - 30 seconds, and strain into a large rocks glass or collins glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a cucumber wheel and a lemon wedge
